I totally agree with your statement. I watch Rick Steves’ Europe program on public broadcasting channel and see how Europeans usually have a promenade walkway in their cities and towns. People walk, meet, and gather there, unlike here in America. European values are completely different than American values. I long for a sense of community and belonging and sense of connectedness that they have in a lot of these European communities, that we don’t have here.
